Chelsea Smith began her dance training at the age of six at the Dance West Dance Studio. As a member of the affiliated company, the Metropolitan Ballet Company, she performed in both national and international dance competitions and festivals. In 2009, she graduated Cum Laude from Chapman University in Orange, California, with a BFA in Dance Performance. Chelsea attended the American Dance Festival held at Duke University where she worked with the choreographer Mark Dendy. In January of 2010, Chelsea continued her modern dance training in New York by participating in both the Doug Varone and Dancers workshop and the ADF New York intensive. Chelsea continues to dance, teach, and choreograph in the styles of ballet, jazz, and modern dance.
